This week, we talk to Mary Zahorsky. She was an exchange student in the Faroe Islands back in the 1970s and stayed with our own Elin Brimheim Heinesen. More than 40 years later, Mary returned to the Faroes to see the country again and reconnect with Elin. We ask Mary about her experiences back in the '70s and what it's like to be back. Then we go out dancing.
Also, we tip our Faroese cap to KOKS. The restaurant recently became the first Faroese dining establishment to win a Michelin star.
NOTE: Just before we posted this, we got word that the Faroe Islands U17 football team just qualified for the European Championship in May. Congratulations to the team and we'll have a special podcast about the victory soon.
